Try a conversation

Say something in Spanish. Right now, on this page.

Pick a language and a tutor, hear their voice, and choose your way through a short conversation. It takes about thirty seconds, and there is nothing to install and nothing to sign up for. In the app you speak these answers out loud instead of choosing them.

Elena
ELENA

¡Hola! ¿Cómo estás hoy?

Hello! How are you today?

This is a demonstration, not the app.

Here you pick from three replies. In Arbor you actually:

  • Speak out loud and it listens — no script, no options
  • See what you said transcribed as you say it
  • Get your pronunciation graded sound by sound, so you learn which word to round out
  • Talk to someone who remembers what you are learning it for, last week, and every word you reached for in English
  • Keep the words — anything you grasped for is added to your review deck and comes back before you forget it

These are the real tutors.

Every voice here is the voice the app uses for that language — the same 18 tutors across 7 languages, each keeping their own pace. Elena is unhurried; Mateo is quick. In the app that difference is what tells one apart from another, and it carries over here.

What this page cannot show you is the part that matters most. A real Arbor conversation already knows what you are learning this for, how last week went, and every word you reached for in English and could not find. It asks about your Tuesday because it knows what your Tuesday looks like.

Questions

Do I need to sign up to try it?
No. The conversation runs entirely in your browser. There is no account, no download and nothing to install.
Is this the actual app?
No. This page is a short scripted conversation where you choose your replies. In the Arbor app you speak out loud instead: it listens, transcribes what you said, grades your pronunciation sound by sound, and replies in a conversation that remembers your previous ones.
Are these the real tutors from the app?
Yes. Every voice on this page is the same voice the Arbor app uses for that language, and each one keeps its own speaking pace.
Which languages can I actually learn today?
Spanish and Polish have complete courses — 72 and 93 hand-written lessons. French, Italian, Portuguese, Russian and Mandarin have tutors and voices ready, with courses opening in waves.
What makes an Arbor conversation different?
It is built around your own life. Arbor asks what you are learning it for, where you are going and who you need to talk to, then every lesson, conversation and review session uses your answers instead of generic textbook sentences.

Now have it built around your life.

Spanish and Polish are ready today. Tell us which language you want and we will write when it opens.
